Nick is a director of Gravis, co-founding the company in 2008. He is responsible for the origination and execution of project finance and asset backed investments with a particular focus on the solar and wind sectors. He also oversees the open-ended investment business.

Nick spent 10 years in investment banking in the City focused on debt origination, structuring and securitisation. He moved to DTZ Corporate Finance where he specialised in the financing of student accommodation assets and long dated cashflows arising from other property and infrastructure assets.

Nick graduated with a degree in Economics from Cambridge University.

Nigel is a non-executive director of Gravis, co-founding the company in 2008. He is instrumental in the development and implementation of the company’s strategy.

As well as his non-executive role in Gravis, Nigel is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Scape, a developer and operator of student accommodation in the UK Australia, Europe and the USA.  During his career, Nigel founded Grosvenor House Group Ltd, a specialist PFI/PPP group and was a co-founder/investor of Supercreche, Seattle Coffee Company, Triyoga, Carluccio’s, MOD Pizza and The Sienna Group.  Nigel continues to procure/mentor new opportunities via a collaborative and energetic approach.

After leaving Millfield School Nigel forged a successful amateur international golf career.

Rollo is a director of Gravis, co-founding the company in 2008. He is a lead fund manager for GCP Infra.

Rollo was in the audit and advisory division of Arthur Andersen and Deloittes, working with a broad range of financial markets clients. He worked in the capital markets division of Commerzbank Securities before moving to DTZ Corporate Finance, where he specialised in structuring tax and accounting driven infrastructure and property debt transactions.

Rollo graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Oxford University and qualified as a chartered accountant.

Ronan is a director of Gravis, co-founding the company in 2008. He is responsible for the origination and execution of investments in the PFI, renewable energy and student accommodation sectors.

Ronan was in the advisory division of KPMG in Dublin, working with a broad range of clients. He moved to DTZ Corporate Finance in 2005, where he specialised in equity capital markets before joining the structured finance team. Ronan has extensive experience in the financing of a wide variety of infrastructure projects in the UK with a particular focus on assets procured under PFI. He has taken a number of student accommodation transactions through planning, financing, design, construction and operation.

Ronan graduated with a degree in Business Studies and German from University of Limerick and qualified as a chartered accountant.

Stephen co-founded the company in 2008 and is the lead fund manager for GCP Infra.

After a short service commission in the British Army, Stephen spent 16 years in investment banking in the City focused on securitisation and tax-based financing. On leaving the City, he became head of structured finance at DTZ Corporate Finance where he was primarily involved in the UK infrastructure and student accommodation sectors.

Stephen has an M.A. in Modern History from Oxford University.

Stephen is a director of Gravis, joining the company in 2015 following many years working on projects with the original founders. He is a lead fund manager for VT UK Infrastructure Income Fund.

Stephen qualified as a Barrister and thereafter spent over twenty years in the fixed income divisions at bulge bracket US and Swiss investment banks. He ran UBS’s global credit underwriting, trading, sales and research business a role which encompassed the bank’s securities and loan divisions.

Stephen graduated with a degree in Law from University College London. He was called to the Bar at Lincolns Inn. Stephen currently serves as an Entrepreneurship Expert with the Entrepreneurship centre at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.

After qualifying as an ACA with Andersen, he moved on to roles with E&Y and DTZ Corporate Finance specialising in student accommodation and education assets.

At Gravis, Tom co-founded Scape Student Living and acts as COO. Over the last 7 years, he’s has been responsible for the roll-out of c.10,000 beds across London and Australia.

David is a chartered accountant, having trained at PwC before going into the Project Finance team at KPMG. He has over 14 years’ experience in project finance investment and has been involved in investing and arranging both debt and equity in a wide range of projects in the PFI, renewable and social infrastructure sectors. David joined Gravis in 2013 as part of the origination team.

Saira is the chief financial officer of Gravis.

Saira joined from Moorfield Group Limited, a UK real estate fund manager, where she was financial controller, responsible for reporting and financial aspects of transactions, debt financing and fund raising. Prior to Moorfield, Saira spent 6 years with CBRE Global Investors where she worked across a range of fund vehicles on both reporting and transactional aspects. Before that, she spent time with Morgan Stanley, and trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG.

Saira graduated from Imperial College with a degree in Maths with Management Studies. She is a chartered accountant, and has completed her Investment Management Certificate. Saira sits on the BPF Finance Committee.

Andrew is a Technical Asset Manager undertaking asset management, technical review and a technical support role across the portfolio and on transactions.

Andrew has a back ground in real-estate, infrastructure and energy construction in the UK, Middle and Far East. For the previous 16 years has worked as a Technical Advisor to lenders and investors in the real-estate, PFI/PPP and renewable energy sectors leading the service line for a number of major consultancy practises and responsible for service delivery to large and specialist funders before joining Gravis in January 2017.

Chartered Quantity Surveyor, MBA from Edinburgh University and a Diploma in Property Investment from the Cambridge International Land Institute.

After her graduation, Antonia conducted academic research on firm value volatility, corporate governance and regulations across developed and emerging markets. She then joined a tech start-up where she was responsible for the valuation and financial analysis of the company, before moving into Gravis in 2015.

Antonia has a Masters degree in Finance and Management from Cranfield University. She is currently a candidate for the Executive Masters in Finance from London Business School.

Ben is an associate director at Gravis. He forms a key part of the GCP Infra advisory team, specialising in social housing, PFI and renewable energy investments.

Ben joined John Laing as a graduate trainee before moving into the investment performance team. His responsibilities included asset valuations, value enhancement initiatives and associated M&A activity across John Laing plc, the John Laing Pension Trust and JLIF. Ben then moved to Hadrian’s Wall Capital where he worked as part of a team focussed on creating credit enhancement products for infrastructure debt transactions.

Ben graduated from the University of Warwick in 2007 with a degree in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering. He has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.

Chloe is Head of Fund Financial Control for Gravis and is responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting across the company’s three listed investment funds.

Chloe has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector. She started her career at Lloyds Banking Group prior to moving into fund administration with Capita where she was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of alternative investment funds. She joined Gravis in 2013.

Chloe is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and holds the Investment Administration Qualification.

Dion is a director of Gravis. As its Head of Investment Companies, he assists with the oversight of Gravis-managed funds as well as providing transaction advisory services and support for corporate actions.

Dion qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in 2002 and subsequently spent four years in the investment funds practice at Ernst & Young. He joined the investment companies team at Cenkos Securities in 2007. Here, as a senior corporate adviser, he worked with investment company boards and their managers advising on and structuring a broad range of transactions covering IPOs, secondary issuance, mergers and corporate reconstructions.

Dion graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath. He is a qualified accountant and qualified as a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

He also published research on key credit trends, legislative changes and market events within the space he covered.

Phil joined Gravis from Foresight Group where he was responsible for investments in the waste and renewable sectors, including large waste wood combustion projects and a pipeline of AD projects across the UK. Phil has been involved in the energy sector for over ten years, working initially as a consultant within PA Consulting’s Energy practice, focussing on energy markets and energy asset valuations. In 2008, he moved to Gazprom Marketing and Trading, working in risk management across a number of commodities before moving into the Clean Energy team.

Philip trained with the Scottish Power Group with roles in water, large-scale power and renewable projects culminating in senior commercial roles in power, waste and water PFI/PP projects. He subsequently had a technical advisory career with EC Harris and Infrata ltd spanning waste management, renewables, power, accommodation and commercial projects.

Philip completed an apprenticeship and graduated from Coventry University with a degree in mechanical engineering. Philip is a chartered mechanical engineer and a chartered environmentalist.

Will joined Gravis in 2017 having spent 12 years working as an analyst within the private wealth management sector. His responsibilities have included the analysis and recommendation of direct equities and closed-end investment vehicles for client portfolios, setting asset allocation and strategy, and the management of in-house OEICs.

William began his career in Edinburgh where he spent five years in financial services before moving to the Financial Times where he spent 9 years, ultimately as Head of Companies and Markets before going on to conceive and launch FTfm. In 2005, he joined Fidelity managing sales to Wealth Managers, Family Offices and Funds of Funds in the UK. In 2009, he founded Highland Capital Partners to independently support fund management companies and corporate brokers with fund raising and investor introductions.

William has the Investment Management Certificate and Chartered Insurance Institute Level 3 in Financial Planning.
