A Shade Greener Ltd (ASG) was one of the first companies in the UK to offer free solar panel systems and is now the UK market leader in the free solar industry. ASG’s business model relies on the ability to secure exclusive access to the roofs of private residential houses which are suitable for the installation of solar PV. ASG installs the systems at their own costs, and the house holder leases the roof to ASG and in return it is offered the electricity that the installation generates for free. ASG retains the revenue accrued through the feed in tariff.
